Chris & Elsa’s BEACH BUST-UP!
The usually carefree couple were caught in a tense exchange
Things appeared to get a little rocky in Byron Bay between Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky last week – and it had nothing to do with the waves! An onlooker tells Woman’s Day the couple looked to be engaged in a heated argument on the beach after having a surf.
The actress, who appeared irate as she and the Thor star exchanged words, has admitted the couple have their “ups and downs”, and their 10-year marriage is “not easy”. And with several movies in the pipeline for Chris, 38, it’s possible that Elsa fears she’s about to be left behind in Byron once again.
The 45-year-old has confessed she’s struggled watching Chris’ profile soar, while she’s put her career largely on the backburner to care for the couple’s three kids – daughter India, nine, and twin sons Tristan and Sasha, seven.
“You see the person you love doing what you’re so passionate about... and you wish you could, too,” she says.
Elsa wrapped up shooting for her new film, Carmen, in Sydney earlier this year, but only has one other project in the works – Russell Crowe’s Poker Face, which is shooting on the NSW South Coast. Chris, meanwhile, has three major films on his slate – Mad Max prequel Furiosa, a Hulk Hogan biopic and the sequel to his Netflix action flick, Extraction.
