FEARS FOR REESE: DRINKING AGAIN?
Reese Witherspoon’s love of vino is no secret, after her infamously drunken run-in with the law in 2013.
And while she’s certainly curtailed her consumption of the finest of wines, the 45-year-old actress is thought to have raised eyebrows at the Amber Waves Cafe in Amagansett, Long Island, last week, with an onlooker telling gossip site Deux Moi, “She stormed off after the girl couldn’t sell her wine before noon.”
Friends are quick to defend the mum-of-three, who is working round-the-clock on
an impossible number of projects.
“She is working crazy hours right now so her body was probably in evening mode,” says one pal. “She’s a workaholic, not an alcoholic, so by midday she’s already worked eight hours.
“It’s not like her to be so obvious about it in front of everyone in a cafe though.
“After that arrest, she’s worked so hard not to be labelled a lush. Things are extremely stressful right now both at home and work, so she takes her breaks when she can get them.”
