Is Rove headed for breakfast TV?

While he’s been off our screens for some time, Rove Mcmanus, 47, could be set for an almighty comeback, with an industry insider revealing to Woman’s Day that he’s been holding “secret meetings” with Nine – and it means fans could soon be waking up to the funnyman on Today!

“Rove would bring a fresh face to breakfast TV,” our source divulges. “It would certainly lighten the format and after COVID, everyone will be longing for a reas reason to exhale and smile.”

The speculation comes after Rove was snapped trying to make a quiet exit from the Nine offices in Perth last week.

And while current host Karl Stefanovic – who’s contracted to Nine until 2023 – is safe for now, he’ll no doubt be nervous as yet another name is thrown into the ring for breakfast TV.
