And she’s getting in shape too!

-

It isn’t just her face that Julia has employed professionals to improve, but also her body, after putting on weight last year and hating what she looked like on TV.

“In my 984 weeks of lockdown in my beloved Melbourne, I just ate my way through 2020,” the mum-of-two jokes. “Then when I had a look at myself on the telly in the jungle in January I had to look away. No judgement on anybody else, I’m just talking about myself!”

Julia says she was inspired to take action after all her clothes stopped fitting and a “balcony” appeared over her trousers.

So despite “hating exercise”, she started walking for half an hour every day. And when Julia came out of strict lockdown, she worked out with a trainer twice a week. Julia also had to cut out sugar for 14 weeks to shift her excess kilos.
