Everything Nicole Kidman touches turns to gold these days, and now insiders say Michelle Pfeiffer’s seeing green over the Aussie actress being screenwriter husband David E Kelley’s favourite muse.
Nicole, 54, has become one of the highest-paid women in TV thanks to her run in 65-year-old David’s hit shows – Big Little Lies, The Undoing and Nine Perfect Strangers – forcing Michelle to re-think her vow to never work with her husband.
“Michelle isn’t the jealous type, but she’s like every other actress. She wants that juicy role just as much as the next person,” says a source of the 63-year-old Maleficent star, who reportedly also feels a little like a “third wheel” when it comes to Nicole and David’s close working relationship. “Michelle’s tired of Nicole getting all the glory and is demanding that she star in David’s next project.”
