Pete Davidson and Kaley Cuoco are doing everything they can to deny they’re an item, since news of her divorce from her second husband Karl Cook hit the headlines last week.
Just hours after filming wrapped on their new time-travel rom-com Meet Cute, the 35-year-old actress announced the end of her marriage.
Meanwhile, Pete, 27, made a swift escape from New York to Florida, leaving Kaley to deal with her “stunned” husband.
Already friends were concerned she was growing way too fond of bad boy comedian Pete when she was spotted away from the set having a blast with him at the Six Flags amusement park in New Jersey last month – though our source says it wasn’t a physical affair at the time.
“Pete has a rule about not going there with married women, so they didn’t act on their attraction, but it pretty much put the nail in the coffin on her marriage,” says a friend.
“Kaley’s a serial bride who goes all in on a relationship until someone more interesting comes along. Karl was totally blindsided, but once lockdown ended and she got back into work, she realised she has more in common with the wit of guys like Pete than horseriding pretty-boy Karl.”
