Inspired by true events, this coming-of-age movie follows teenager Jamie New, who dreams of performing as a fierce and proud drag queen. While his best friend Pritti and his loving mum shower him with endless support, Jamie must contend with an unsupportive father, an uninspired careers adviser and some ignorant school kids who attempt to rain on his sensational parade. In rousing musical numbers, Jamie and his community inspire one another to overcome prejudice.
