Game-changing concealer tricks for a brighter complexion
1
Always apply foundation first – you can then see how much more coverage you need from your concealer. 2 For pimples, use a thicker concealer like those in sticks and pots as a cream will just slide off. Apply with a small brush before blurring the edges out with the pad of your finger. 3
Set concealed spots or under eyes with a light dusting of translucent powder. 4
Always pick a concealer one shade lighter than your foundation. 5 When concealing dark circles, don’t go too close to the lash line and only apply to the shadowy areas. 6
Dot concealer on the outer corner and inner corner of the eye and then blend out towards the temple. This gives a lifted effect. 7
Try using green-tinted concealers to diffuse redness on the cheeks. They’re more effective at knocking back redness on large areas, but use lightly or mix with your regular flesh tone concealer.
