STAN WALKER’S SECRET WEDDING
Former Australian Idol winner Stan Walker has tied the knot with his long-term partner Lou Tyson in a secret wedding ceremony in New Zealand.
Singer Stan and Lou, both 30, exchanged vows last month, just eight months after announcing their engagement to the world.
Just the couple’s parents and Lou’s son – who served as pageboy – attended the intimate ceremony, after COVID-19 forced them to cancel their original plans. And while many of his nearest and dearest couldn’t be there in person on his big day, Stan captured the event, including their wedding vows, for his new music video, Matemateaone.
Stan announced his engagement to Lou in December last year after meeting in 2013. In 2017, the pair briefly split before Stan announced he had been diagnosed with cancer, leading him to get his stomach removed. The couple rekindled their romance last year and Stan is now cancer free.
