Former AFL star Ben Cousins was looking better than ever as he stepped out with rumoured new love Kelley Fergus on his arm at the Brownlow Medal ceremony in Perth last week.

Nine months after leaving jail following his conviction for stalking an ex, the 43-year-old says he’s “absolutely” back on the right path and felt “fortunate” to be invited to football’s night of nights, more than a decade since he last attended.

Ben also appears to be lucky in love again after meeting Kelley, a WA FIFO worker and caterer. As well as being his date to the medal event, the blonde was spotted hanging out with Ben and his daughter Angelique, seven, with onlookers saying they appeared very cosy. “There were lots of laughs,” says one witness.
