FEARS FOR JACK NICHOLSON

-

Family is rallying around Hollywood legend Jack Nicholson, after reports emerged suggesting the star is suffering from dementia.

According to insiders, the 84-year-old actor – who hasn’t been seen out in public in more than a year – rarely leaves his Beverly Hills home, instead spending his time with close family only.

“He’s lived life to the fullest, now he’s making up for lost time with his kids,” says an insider. The One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest star has five children – Jennifer, 58, Caleb, 51, Honey, 40, Lorraine, 31, and

Ray, 29 – and sources say they’re now caring for their famous father.

“Jack wasn’t around for the kids when they were younger,” says the insider. “It’s one of his biggest regrets, so he feels grateful to have a chance to set things right.”

Sources say it’s hard for the Oscar winner’s loved ones to watch the actor – who last appeared in 2010 rom-com How Do You Know – decline.

“Physically he is fine – but his mind is not,” says a source. “It’s really sad to see such a super talented actor like Jack go out this way.”
