Yes, it’s true! After months of speculation about a possible romance between Angelina Jolie and pop singer The Weeknd, the pair all but confirmed the rumours when they stepped out together for a private dinner date in Santa Monica last week.
Angelina, 46, who has been single since her public split from husband Brad Pitt in 2016, and the Canadian singer, 31, reportedly arrived separately to Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi, where they were taken to a private dining room.
After two hours they left together, with mum-of-six Ange jumping in the back seat of The Weeknd’s SUV before they headed to his Bel Air mansion.
Despite endless romance rumours, a source told Page Six the meeting was purely for “business” with the singer, who has previously dated model Bella Hadid and actress Selena Gomez, “definitely trying to get into the movie industry”. Reps for the pair declined to comment.
