AMAL WARNS GEORGE: THE PARTIES ARE OFF!
Overnight, Hollywood’s cocktail scene lit up with the news that Brad Pitt and George Clooney are buddies again, after announcing last week they will co-star in a new thriller by Spider-man director Jon Watts.
However, sources say 60-year-old George’s wife Amal, 43, is “freaking out” over the legendary party animals’ reunion and has laid out a string of rules to make sure he isn’t led astray by Brad, 57, who is open about his own battle with drinking.
“Amal wants a sobriety coach on set,” says an insider. “She doesn’t want George to lead Brad astray either. She figures if Brad’s in the middle of a custody battle and public about the fact he is or was in AA, he won’t want to be boozing in a bar with George, who’s also trying to be healthier.
“He’s assured Amal they’re older and wiser now and the Ocean’s Eleven parties are a thing of the past. The spark’s still there though – Brad and George have been laughing non-stop every time they get together!”
