LINDA EVANGELISTA: I WAS ‘BRUTALLY DISFIGURED’
After years in hiding, model Linda Evangelista has sensationally claimed she was left “deformed” and “unrecognisable” after a cosmetic procedure. The 56-year-old Canadian model says she’s suffered rare side-effects from a Coolsculpting procedure that was meant to freeze fat cells, but instead left her “brutally disfigured”, plunged her into “a cycle of deep depression [and] profound sadness” and forced her to become a recluse.
Linda, who was at the height of her runway fame in the ’90s, went on to reveal she is speaking out in the hope of putting an end to her five years of shame.
She is now talking about taking legal action in what she says is “a big step towards righting a wrong that I have suffered”.
