HE’S A TWIN!

Daryl and his twin brother Glenn were born on January 11, 1949.

HE ISN’T AFRAID OF HARD YAKKA

In 1987 he worked as labourer on a council road gang.

HE HAS HIKED THE KOKODA TRAIL

He was a member of A Current Affair’s Kokoda Challenge in 1996, alongside other fellow celebs Angry Anderson, Grant Kenny, Colette Mann and Dermott Brereton. “I was determined to make it, no matter what. But it was really, reallyy hard,”, he said.

HE ONCE DATED OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN

“Well, Olivia won’t mind me saying that we did start out as boyfriend and girlfriend back when we were around 12 or 13 at the most,” says Daryl. “We held hands and we were in the same class. But then it all disintegra­ted. I think she left and went to England.”

HE WAS INDUCTED INTO THE ARIA HALL OF FAME
