Move over Gene Wilder and Johnny Depp – here’s Wonka 3.0! Timothee Chalamet has shared the first pics of himself in costume as the much-loved candy man for the upcoming prequel, Wonka. The musical, due to hit the big screen in March 2023, will see the Dune star play a younger version of Roald Dahl’s classic confectioner and give fans a glimpse at what happened before he opened his chocolate factory. “The suspense is terrible, I hope it will last,” Timothee, 25, teased on social media of the fantasy film.
