Welcome new Yellow Wiggle Tsehay!
Bubbly Ethiopian-born teen dancer and singer Tsehay Hawkins was overwhelmed when she learned she was the new Yellow Wiggle a day before Emma’s retirement was announced.
“It’s incredible. It’s amazing. Little me would have been absolutely over the moon,” Tsehay gushes. “I’ve always dreamed of performing on stage, and making kids happy and inspiring them is a big plus on top.”
Tsehay, who turns 16 next month, knows what big yellow shoes she has to fill. “All the little girls saw someone to aspire to, I thought she was amazing – and I still do!”
