Who’s coming back to Masterchef?

Thirteen years on, the inaugural Masterchef Australia winner, Julie Goodwin, is returning to the show that made her a household name. The cooking queen (above right), who turns 51 next week, will be competing in a special Foodies Vs Favourites season alongside other Masterchef alumni, including Alvin Quah, Sarah Todd and Michael Weldon.

“Life’s an adventure,” Julie tells Woman’s Day of heading back to TV. “I have loved the opportunities I’ve had on television.” The show will see 12 previous Masterchef stars competing alongside a dozen newcomers. And Woman’s Day hears Marion Grasby and Adam Liaw (above) have also been approached to take part in the series, set to debut on Ten in 2022.
