My Kitchen Rules bosses are said to have a secret weapon up their sleeve when it comes to reviving the ratings on the once mega-hit show – in fact, they have two of them! Sources say Nigella Lawson, 61, and George Calombaris, 43, are in talks to be judges on a new-look version of the reality series in 2022. The pair, who are close friends in real life and appeared on Masterchef together, are reportedly being sold “as a package deal” to replace former hosts Pete Evans and Manu Feildel, who Seven have confirmed won’t be returning to the series. Restaurant boss George is no doubt keen to revitalise his image after becoming embroiled in a 2019 underpayment scandal at his company, while British domestic goddess Nigella has made no secret of the fact she loves spending time in Australia.
