The title might be convoluted, but the premise of this new comedy mystery is simple. Anna (Kristen Bell, right) thinks she witnesses a murder happening across the road. No one believes her. Determined to prove she’s not making the story up or didn’t imagine it after downing her nightly few glasses of wine, Anna sets out to crack the case. It’s what might happen if Kristen’s teen detective character, Veronica Mars, was washed up, lonely and scorned by her neighbours, with this new eight-episode series having a similar dark tone.
