SNUBBED FROM CRICKET’S BIGGEST WEDDINGS

-

Candice Warner raised eyebrows recently when, rather than slipping into a frock to celebrate two of the cricketing world’s biggest weddings, she was snapped doing a grocery run instead! Candice and husband David Warner’s absence from captain Pat Cummins’ and spin king Nathan Lyon’s recent high-profile nuptials certainly didn’t go unnoticed in the cricketing world. It promoted speculation the 37-year-old – who has made a name for herself as the queen of the cricket WAGS – and David, 35, may be on the outer with his teammates. But a source says the couple aren’t the only ones getting the cold shoulder!

“There’s a discontent right now in the Australian cricket camp, especially after the bowlers may have left key team members from their the guest lists,” says a source. “The bowlers have set up their own little breakaway group and they keep to themselves, as do their WAGS,” says the source, who reveals it “remains to be seen if captain Pat can mend this rift before the summer of cricket kicks off”.
