SELENA’S WORKING GIRL IN THE WORKS!

It was the movie that put Melanie Griffith on the map, and now Only Murders In The Building star Selena Gomez is in talks to produce a reboot of the 1988 classic hit Working Girl.

The original Oscarnominated flick about an ambitious secretary who longs to be a stockbroker, also starred Hollywood heavyweights Sigourney Weaver and Harrison Ford and pulled big bucks at the box office. While a 1990s TV series starring Sandra Bullock was short-lived due to poor ratings, producers are hoping this latest version will have more success.

It’s not yet known whether Selena, 30, will star in the movie as well as produce, but fans are already buzzing.

“Great ’80s film and Selena would do a great job of showcasing this classic to a younger audience,” commented one fan.
