WHY KYLE’S GOT IT IN FOR NIGELLA!
Kyle Sandilands has made it clear he’s no fan of My Kitchen Rules judge Nigella Lawson after he made a series of on-air rants. Nigella’s MKR co-host Manu Feildel was caught in the crossfire when the shock jock called out 62-year-old Nigella for not appearing on The Kyle & Jackie O Show.
Kyle asked Manu, 48, who was clearly uncomfortable being put on the spot.
“I have no idea, that’s news to me buddy! I will make sure she talks to you next time,” Manu said, trying to lighten the mood.
But Kyle wasn’t backing down. “How am I meant to support you when the woman beside you loathes the thought of me… when you find out someone doesn’t like you, you can’t help but not like someone back,” the 51-year-old replied.
Kyle’s co-host Jackie O, 47, went on to speculate that the bad blood with Nigella dates back to an earlier run-in over an on-air cake challenge where the duo attempted to see if the cook could taste the different between a supermarket cake and one from a patisserie.
“When I say ‘walked out’ I mean [she] stormed out and said she would never, ever speak to the show again,” said Jackie.
