Married At First Sight star Martha Kalifatidis has sparked concerns for her health after she rushed home early from her European trip and has been absent from social media for more than a month.

The 34-year-old, who became a breakout star on the 2019 series of MAFS when she doused Cyrell Paule with red wine, first sparked health fears after she took to Instagram to announce she was bedridden and had flown back to Melbourne alongside her fiance Michael Brunelli, months before they were due to return.

Martha hasn’t returned online since, leaving it up to Michael, 31, to provide regular updates to her concerned followers, saying she’s been suffering from a mystery “viral infection” but is “on the mend”.

However, Michael’s assurance did little to appease fans, after Martha was spotted looking gaunt and very pale when she stepped out for the first time in weeks to go to shopping centre Northland near her home in Melbourne, wearing ugg boots.
