ANDREW CUTS A DEAL WITH VIRGINIA
Prince Andrew has shaved several million dollars from his settlement payout to his sex abuse accuser Virginia Giuffre – but it’s come at quite a massive price.
Early reports suggested the undisclosed figure was around $21 million, but now The Sun alleges Virginia instead negotiated a substantially lower $5 million settlement in exchange for being able to tell her story one day.
“It was basically Andrew had to pay out big time, and everyone knows about his money troubles,” says a source. “Or he paid less and lost the ability to pay for her silence.”
It’s believed that Virginia, 38, who alleges Andrew had sex with her when she was a teenager in London and New York, at the behest of late paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, is “well into” writing her memoir, which will detail her harrowing encounters.
