KATE FIGHTS BACK ‘I WON’T BE PUSHED AROUND!’

-

“Rising above it all” is how palace insiders say the Duchess of Cambridge will be treating the upcoming visit from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The contentious couple last week announced they will be visiting the UK and Germany next month to make appearances in support of several charities and organisations.

It’s the first time Kate, alongside husband Prince William, both 40, will come face to face with the Sussexes since Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, where Harry and Meghan were noticeably kept at a distance by senior royals.

This time around, insiders insist Kate won’t be succumbing to any drama brought on by the duo and won’t be “pushed around” by Meghan.

Adding to Kate’s increasing angst is said to be the fact Harry and Meghan will be a little “too close” during their trip.

In coming weeks, the Cambridge family are set to make the move to the Queen’s Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor Estate, where their new home will be just 800 metres from Frogmore Cottage, where the Sussexes are tipped to be staying.

While they will be neighbours, insiders say the foursome are barely on speaking terms. “Wills is making sure Kate is on the front foot this time,” tells a source, who says in the event they do come face-toface, there are no issues.

“Kate’s suffered enough and has been dragged through the mud because of Meghan... While they’re in England, Kate will have the upper hand.”
