SPLIT TURNS NASTY

Harrow star Ioan’s

The sad break-up between former A-list acting couple Alice Evans and Ioan Gruffudd is becoming messier.

It seems Alice may have exposed herself to legal action after posting about her situation on social media. A restraining order was brought against her earlier this month by her estranged husband, star of ABC’S Harrow.

The former couple, who met on the set of Disney’s 102 Dalmatians in 2000, tied the knot in 2007 and split in March 2021, are in the middle of a headline-making divorce, which saw Ioan, 48, have the 54-year-old mother-of-two banned from mentioning him on social media for three years after she slammed him online.

But Alice, who shares daughters Ella, 12, and Elsie, eight, with the Welsh actor, seemingly ignored the court order, taking to Instagram earlier this month claiming she was being “gaslit” and cruelly compared to Ioan’s new Aussie girlfriend, Bianca Wallace, by online trolls.

One of the biggest sources of contention between the pair is Alice’s claim that Ioan engaged in a three-year affair with Queensland-born Bianca, 29, after they met on the Aussie set of Harrow in 2018.

“So it turns out my husband, after two years of telling me I’m a bad person and I’m not exciting and he no longer wants to have sex with me... has been in a relationship for three years behind my back,” Alice wrote on social media shortly after Ioan went public with Bianca on social media in October 2021.

Meanwhile, Ioan’s camp deny the affair claims, and say he’s had “no choice” but to up his legal fight against Alice with the new restraining order. “She had become increasingly volatile and seemingly intent on destroying his career with her character assassination. He hopes this will put an end to it,” a source tells.

While Alice struggles to come to terms with the marriage breakdown, Ioan and Bianca are going from strength to strength and as of June have gone public with their romance in LA.
