CHOC ORANGE POPPYSEED SWIRL

Following the basic cupcake recipe, replace vanilla extract with 2 tsp finely grated orange zest and replace milk with orange juice. Divide mixture into 2 bowls. Stir 1 tbsp sifted cocoa powder into one bowl and 1 tbsp poppy seeds into remaining bowl. Spoon alternate tablespoon­s of mixtures cases, swirling with a skewer to create a marbled effect. For chocolate buttercrea­m, add 2 tbsp sifted cocoa powder to basic buttercrea­m recipe.
