Hopes were high that Gossip Girl star Blake might be the one to finally tame Leo’s single-guy ways, but shortly after stepping out together at the Cannes Film Festival the pair called it quits.

Despite high-flying dates in Venice, Los Angeles, New York and Australia, Blake, then 23, and Leo couldn’t last the distance, citing “work commitments” for their split. Blake is now married to Ryan Reynolds and the pair share three kids.
