MARRIED BY MUM!

Chloe weds in secret

-

She has been calling her beloved partner, James Driskill “husband” for some time, but Olivia Newton-john’s daughter Chloe Lattanzi has never confirmed her marital status – until now.

Last week, one month after her mother’s passing, Chloe took to social media in a touching post to reveal to fans she had tied the knot with her Us-born partner.

“This was the most precious moment of my life,” she captioned an emotional throwback video of her and James at a beachside commitment ceremony.

Her late mother Olivia appeared to be officiating the nuptials and can be heard in the clip expressing her delight for the pair. “Married finally… my beautiful daughter and handsome son-in-law,” she gushed as she put her hands together and looked to the sky. “I’m so excited – I’m a bit overwhelmed emotionally,” Olivia said as the pair locked arms.

James and Chloe, who recently moved from Oregon to California, met in 2009 at an LA club where he was a bouncer and they have not looked back since.

“We know we’re soulmates, we know we’re committed – we call each other husband and wife – so we’re just like, ‘OK, we’ll get to the paperwork when we have time,’” she shared in 2020, going on to say James “loves” the idea of marriage.

While Chloe confirmed a ceremony did occur in her latest post, it’s unknown if the couple made it legally binding with a marriage licence. In an interview with Us Weekly in January last year, she still referred to James as her “fiance”, as she opened up about their wedding plans.

The exact timing of their big day is also unclear, Chloe explained in her post they married “years ago” in the Bahamas.

“I asked my gorgeous mama to marry me to this incredible man. Thank you, mama. For everything. I miss you every moment,” she said.

While Chloe and James have remained tight-lipped about their romance over the years, James was certainly a huge part of Chloe’s personal recovery from her mental health issues and was adored by Olivia.
