Frostiest of friends
Lisa was always the third wheel amid the close friendship between Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox, however sources say she chose to keep her distance from the girls during filming of the iconic sitcom for a good reason.
“She’s been insecure about them from the first day,” says a pal, who explains that as Lisa had just been fired from Frasier due to clashing with the wrong people on set, she assumed the same would happen with Friends.
“It didn’t, but that didn’t mean she didn’t rub everyone up the wrong way,” adds the source.
“She really upset Jen and Court when she started talking about how they were more beautiful than her. After all those years to reduce their comedic work and chemistry to how they look was disappointing.
“They’re used to Lisa and her quirks but this was all a bit tragic. They always preferred Lisa when she was reading from a script – they knew what to expect.”
