Abraham Lincoln
TUESDAY, FOXTEL HISTORY, 7.30PM
The show begins on a rickety train in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. A man aboard appears frail and old. It’s Abraham Lincoln, travelling in disguise from his home in Illinois to Washington DC ahead of his inauguration. Across three two-hour episodes, the miniseries tells the true story of America’s iconic 16th president, from his childhood in Indiana to how he ruled a divided country during the Civil War. The show is produced by historian Doris Kearns Goodwin.
