1 MEASURE PROPERLY & PILE INGREDIENTS
I always use digital scales to weigh products correctly. I then pile them into sections to keep track of which is the White Wings flour or CSR sugar!
2 PREHEAT YOUR OVEN
Placing a cake or item in the oven without preheating will stop the process of cooking, which will affect the end result. The same goes for ingredients, if not prepared correctly. Butter is a prime example – it can’t be creamed if hard.
3 ENSURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT
Equipment is super important to be able to fulfil tasks and to cook the dish. I love my electric machines. They take a lot of the muscles out of whisking batters and creams.
