The writing was on the wall for Andrew and Fergie’s daughter Princess Eugenie back in 2011, when Charles stripped her of royal police protection. In a move that left their father apoplectic, Charles “intervened” after he found out she had racked up a bill of $169,000 in taxpayer-funded security bills while on her gap year in India, the US, South Africa and Thailand. Insiders say Charles has “no practical use” for Eugenie, 32, who alongside her husband Jack Brooksbank have made the decision to raise their son August between the UK and Portugal, due to Jack’s new job abroad.
