PRINCESS BEATRICE

IN

-

While her sister distances herself from the firm, Princess Beatrice has been handed an important role in the wake of the Queen’s death. The eldest daughter of Andrew and Sarah is now a Counsellor of State, meaning she can step in for King Charles III and perform his royal duties if needed. The position allows the holder to undertake official duties as sovereign, in the event that the monarch cannot fulfil their duties due to illness or absence abroad. Before the Queen’s death, princes Charles, Andrew, William and Harry all held the position and now that Charles is King, Beatrice, 34, has joined the esteemed group.
