WELCOME HOME TO LONDON

The royal hearse arrived at Buckingham Palace on a drizzly London evening, amid clapping and cheers from the crowd of “God save the Queen.” According to reports, Her Majesty designed the hearse herself with the viewing public in mind. Her family members were waiting inside to receive the coffin, before it was taken by horsedrawn gun carriage to the Houses of Parliament the following day.
