HISTORY IN THE MAKING
The Queen’s four children – King Charles, Princess Anne and princes Andrew and Edward – came together at Westminster Hall for the Vigil of the Princes. It was the second time her children had paid their respects in this manner – the first was at St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh on September 12, where the Princess Royal made history by becoming the first woman to take part in the historic ceremony. In a statement, Anne revealed she was “fortunate” to share the last 24 hours of her “dearest mother’s life” in Balmoral.
