All eight of the Queen’s grandchildren – the Prince of Wales, the Duke of Sussex, princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, James, Viscount Severn, Lady Louise Windsor, Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall – held a moving silent vigil beside Her Majesty’s coffin at Westminster Hall. Meanwhile, Camilla and Kate put duty first during a lunch held for governors-general of the Commonwealth realms at Buckingham Palace In London. Foreign dignitaries, heads of state and other VIPS were among the thousands who visited Westminster Hall to view Queen Elizabeth II lying in state before her funeral.

William led his brother and cousins in the touching ceremony.
