Leila faces the axe!
Just as fast as a ninja tumbling down Mount Midoriyama, Leila Mckinnon has had her dream gig ripped away from her with news that Australian Ninja Warrior has been axed.
The Nine journalist and presenter, 49, was brought in this year to liven up the waning format alongside former US tennis pro Jim Courier, 52. However, the pair were met with fierce fan backlash, with many labelling original hosts Rebecca Maddern and Ben Fordham’s replacements as “shocking”.
A huge hit when it premiered in 2017, Ninja Warrior took a big fall in the ratings this year.
