ARCHBISHOP MAKES AN AWKWARD DIG!

Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby was unwittingly dragged into Meghan and Harry’s ongong royal feud when they alleged to Oprah Winfrey that he secretly married them before their wedding in 2018 – forcing him to issue a denial at the time.

“The legal marriage took place on that Saturday,” the Archbishop was quoted as saying, adding that he personally signed the marriage certificate. “I would have committed a crime if I had signed something that was not true.”

Now it seems the Church of England’s most prominent figure made a subtle dig at them during the Queen’s funeral, appearing to criticise their half-in, half-out status. “Those who serve will be remembered but those who cling to power and privileges are long forgotten,” he said.

The religious head looked at the Sussexes when he made his remark.
