FINAL RESTING PLACE

Following the procession, which was witnessed by two million mourners, the Queen was laid to rest inside St George’s Chapel, within the grounds of one of her favourite homes, Windsor Castle, where she enjoyed many happy times with her late husband Prince Philip.

The streets were covered in red, white and blue as the coffin made its way through central London.

Flowers were thrown by members of the public onto the hearse.

The Queen’s funeral was reportedly watched by 4.1 billion people around the world.
