FAKE FARMERS EXPOSED!

-

Farmer Wants A Wife

producers have been called out for trying to pass off other people’s properties as their farmers’.

According to reports, Will Simpson, Harry Lloyd and Paige Marsh used “stunt properties” to film their storylines on the show.

Will’s TV farm was in NSW – 750km and another state away from his real property in Berriwillock, Victoria.

“Farmer Wants A Wife,

like all so-called reality TV shows, is a farce,” commented one viewer.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed that dairy farmer Harry, from Kyabram, couldn’t have been filming at his own farm either, with the background looking nothing like the northcentral Victorian town.

It turns out they were right, with Seven admitting the scenes were filmed elsewhere.

“Due to COVID, part of Harry’s Farmer Wants A Wife journey was filmed on a dairy farm near Gloucester [in NSW],” a spokesperson said in a statement, before insisting, “The location of the farm didn’t impact the series as Harry’s ladies were able to experience

life on a dairy farm with Harry, including the earlymorning starts.”

Meanwhile, Seven has confessed that Farmer Paige – who exited the series early after failing to find love – doesn’t even own a farm.
