Three commuters were keeping busy on a train home and missed their stops! From the clues, can you tell what each was doing, how far past their stop they went and how long they had to wait for a train going back the other way?

CLUES

1. Isabel was texting when she saw her stop go by.

2. Harriet was engrossed in a video game on her phone and went three stops too far.

3. The woman who went just one stop past her destination only had to wait five minutes before a train came in the other direction.

4. The person who went two stops too far had to wait the longest for a returning train.

Each time you rule out a match, put a cross where the vertical and horizontal squares meet in the grid. When you find a match, put a tick in the grid. Also put a cross in the other two squares horizontally and vertically in the same line, as no other combinations can be true. By doing so, you’ll gradually be able to solve the puzzle.
