MEGHAN’S WEEK OF CONFESSIONS

Fast food, acting and bimbos – the duchess has had a lot to say...

-

Regular work, a decent pay cheque and secure health insurance – most people would be happy to take a job with those perks.

However, the Duchess of Sussex came out swinging about her former gig as a briefcase model on the US version of Deal Or No Deal in her latest instalment of her podcast Archetypes.

A day later, she ruffled feathers by speaking about the Queen’s passing with Variety,

where she also described her and Harry’s standing with the royal family as “complicated”.

In the latest Archetypes

episode, which features Paris Hilton as a guest, the royal said she was grateful for the money she earned on the show as she tried to succeed as an actress

– calling it “a short stint” to pay bills – but said she disliked how it made her feel, which was “not smart”. Meghan confessed that she felt she was reduced to being a “bimbo” on the show.

“Here, I was being valued for something quite the opposite [of intelligence]... I ended up quitting the show... I was so much more than what was being objectified on the stage,” she confessed.

“I didn’t like feeling forced to be all looks and little substance.”

It didn’t take long before her former co-workers came out to debunk Meghan’s claims about life on the hit series.

Model Claudia Jordan responded to the royal’s comment by pointing out that appearing on a game show as a model “isn’t necessarily about your intellect”, before insisting the show never made anyone act like a bimbo.

Meanwhile, in Meghan’s magazine tell-all, she spoke of the late Queen, saying she was grateful to have “spent time with her and get to know her”.

Elsewhere, she said “never say never” of returning to Hollywood, before insisting “it’s really fun” when she and Harry go to LA fast food chain In-n-out Burger for dinner where they “surprise” workers.
