Popstar Samantha Jade ties the knot – with friends Guy and Jules Sebastian in tow
Songstress Samantha Jade has finally tied the knot with fiance Pat Handlin in a gorgeous and top secret ceremony in Venice, Italy.
In pictures exclusively obtained by Woman’s Day, the stunning X Factor winner, 35, and her former Sony executive partner, exchanged their vows along the canals of the famed city with just a celebrant and best friends Guy Sebastian, 40, and his wife Jules, 43, there to bear witness. At several times in the afternoon, their famous friends even stepped in to take photos of Sam and Pat as they posed in front of the historical buildings and took their first kisses as a married couple.
Afterwards, the foursome took a boat to their next stop, where the festivities continued well into the evening.
Interestingly, the surprise wedding comes after Sam postponed the nuptials three times due to the pandemic following the pair’s engagement in 2019.
The Sydney-based singer told the media last year that she refused to get married unless her father, who lives in Perth, could walk her down the aisle.
“There’s no way if I can’t have my family at my wedding,” she said.
