CAMILLA CHECKS INTO ‘REHAB’!
Camilla, Queen Consort, has never shied away from a party, and in the past few months of hosting foreign dignitaries and generally being the hostess with the mostess as they farewelled her mother-in-law, she was in the mood for a good reset.
Which is why the 75-year-old recently took off for her favourite holiday spot Soukya, a “healing sanctuary” in India. Camilla was joined by 10 friends – but not her husband – with insiders revealing it was a belated 75th birthday to herself, along with a chance for some R&R following the family’s mourning period.
Soukya, which “practises a treatment approach that integrates different traditional, time-tested and natural systems of medicine”, is a favourite for the new Queen, who has visited it eight times in the past, including taking Charles there for his birthday in 2019.
“Camilla jokes that she takes herself off to rehab for a good cleanse,” says a source. “She works hard and enjoys her social life, so this is her way of finding balance.”
