KING CHARLES
He was already the king of castles – including the Castle of Mey, which was left to him by the Queen Mother – before the 73-year-old inherited the crown, but now Charles has seen his real estate portfolio boom.
Highgrove House, where he lives privately, remains in the Duchy of Cornwall, now overseen by William. But Charles is now the caretaker of Buckingham Palace, Clarence House, St James’s Palace, Kensington Palace, Windsor Castle, Sandringham House and all the residences dotted throughout these English properties, plus the Palace of Holyroodhouse and Balmoral Castle in Scotland, and Northern Ireland’s Hillsborough Castle. Charles is now worth around $900 million.
