Her hit Emmy-winning court show Judge Judy wrapped up in 2021 after 25 seasons on the air, but the star is still enjoying the spoils of the hit daytime series – which became the number one syndicated show on television. In 2017, US TV network CBS bought Judy’s back catalogue of Judge Judy episodes for a reported $148 million. “They wanted to optimally utilise the repeats of my program because now they have 25 years of reruns,” says Judy. She also earns an extra $3 million a year producing courtroom show Hot Bench.
