COLIN CAUSES NEVER-ENDING NIGHTMARE

-

ASydney cafe owner who appeared on Seven’s Kitchen Nightmares has slammed the series, claiming her business is losing thousands of dollars a week and may be forced to close for good since the show revamped her restaurant.

“Our business dropped instantly after they stopped filming,” claims Virginia Cheong, whose restaurant was also rebranded from Cafe de Vie to Cafe Tabouli. “We were losing about $4500 a week in business. One week we were down $6000.”

However, the show’s host Colin Fassnidge has hit back. “It was... serving terrible Middle Eastern bread and Italian food,” says the 48-year-old celebrity chef. “So this thing of they’re losing all this money because we moved the coffee machine, mate – move the coffee machine back.

“I feel sad that Virginia has to close, but she was closing anyway... it’s a shame.”

?? ?? “She could have changed the name back,” says the chef.
