COURTROOM VICTORY FOR GUY

-

Guy Sebastian has labelled his former manager Titus Day “evil” after the celebrity agent was jailed for embezzling more than $600,000 from the singer. Day, 49, who managed the popstar for a decade before their business relationship broke down in 2017, will spend four years behind bars for misappropriating funds from Guy’s accounts.

In his victim impact statement, the singer, 41, said he’s “not the same person” he was before the crime. “I wish I could still view the world the same way but every day I fight through negative thoughts and I have to remind myself that not everyone is capable of doing this.”

“I have struggled through anger and resentment and I’m not even close to being healed yet,” the Voice star says of the drama, adding that Day’s “sustained deception” left him in the “darkest points” of his life.

“Uncovering the depth of the lies from a man I considered a brother has forever changed my outlook in certain situations and my ability to trust in the innate goodness of people.”

Day had also became close to Guy’s wife Jules and their sons Hudson, 10, and Archer, eight.

“For him to be a close family friend and socially interact with my family for years knowing what he was doing can only be described as evil.”
